Hello, and welcome or welcome back to Evenings with Addy, a small town girl trying to find good in life.
This week was a pretty quiet one for me other than work. My dad invited four guest to stay with us so my room is currently occupied for the next five days which isn't preferable.
They took my family and I out for dinner on Monday night. We went to a restaurant that was just renovated and reopened. Everyone's meals were great but my bacon was raw and when they remade it they put mushrooms, onions and forgot to put the sauce on my pasta which was disappointing as it was so good until I noticed the bacon.
On Monday afternoon, I popped by the thrift store to pick up some sheets to make into clothes. I've been thinking of learning how to sew for a while and it was a perfect way to spend my day off.
This week I plan on heading to Bowley Pond and Dunes to walk along the dunes and floating board walk with my mom! Total it's about an hour of walking but reviews say it is quite the trek! I will be sure to take many pictures for next Tuesday.
While I was sewing, my sister, dad and our guests went out on our boat for the first time this season. There wasn't enough room for my mom and I but she kept busy with a book and snooze and me with my sewing.
Overall, it was a much quieter week than usual but hopefully things will pick up again this week. I'll see you next Tuesday!
