Hello and welcome or welcome back to Evenings with Addy, a small town girl trying to find the good in life.
This weeks post is a day late... I'm sorry. My job has been keeping me BUSY as Vacation Bible School has just started and I am in co-charge of it! Things are crazy but it is running smoothly!
On Friday, my sister and her girlfriend came over to the island for dinner since the bridge is now twenty dollars instead of fifty! We chatted for a bit, ate and then played a couple hours of Crazy 8's where I got my butt whooped.
On Saturday, I went out to Victoria By The Sea with my mom and one of her friends. We went to Casa Mia for lunch and the Island Chocolate for a little sweet treat after. At Casa Mia I had the Panko Chicken BTL minus the T and it was really good! I did however get charged for two diet cokes because the can wasn't brought out with them so I thought it was fountain pop. I got a dark chocolate bar from Island Chocolate and it was AMAZING! I will definitely go back for more!
On Monday, I wrote my learners test and I can now DRIVE!! I did press the gas instead of the brake while parking but other than that I have been a pretty decent driver.
This past week was a slow one but I did enjoy it! I only have next Monday off and then I will be working seven days a week until the last day of August. I have planned to go to the beach with my friend after work on Friday and go get ice cream which I am looking forward too! I will hopefully see you next Tuesday!
