Hello and welcome back to Evenings with Addy, a small town girl trying to find the good in life. This week was very busy but mostly because of work. I worked 55 hours this week. YIKES!
On Thursday, my mom and I were out doing some errands and popped into Giant Tiger, or GT Boutique as we call it. I found a tomato rug and a dog toilet bowl cleaner to add to my hope chest!
On Friday, my mum and I popped into the library! I picked out The Dating Dare by Jayci Lee and How You Get The Gril by Antia Kelly. I am about half way done The Dating Dare and it is great so far!
On Saturday, my mum, sister and I headed over to the Turkey Tavern in Cavendish. My mom had the hot turkey dinner and my sister had the hot turkey sandwich. Nothing on the menu was really tickling my fancy as I’m not the biggest turkey person but our waitress was absolutely amazing and brought me some chips and buns! The buns were OUT OF THIS WORLD. So good. I would definitely go there again just for the buns and service. Afterwards, we walked around all the shops, I got a lady bug necklace and a puzzle. We also bumped into a GIANT potato!
On Sunday, I had the afternoon off for the first time since July. I was so excited and I had so many plans and then I slept. All after noon. On Monday, I did the same thing. I finished up work an hour early and ended up sleeping until 7:30pm totally missing dinner!
Tonight though, is going to be CRAZY. I’m going to watch Freakier Friday with my friend. Its cheap night at the theater. I grabbed some snacks yesterday and am ready to PARTY.
This week is also my last week at my internship. I have been preparing all my gifts, cards and goodbyes. It’s safe to say that I am not excited to be leaving. Now the job search starts up again! I applied to three this morning and I will do two more once my boss is done with her letter of recommendation!
The weather randomly changed to fall last week. All of a sudden I was wearing a big cozy sweater and watching Gilmore Girls with a pumpkin spice latte in my hands! I do adore fall so I am very excited but my mom is not.. She thinks my pumpkin spice creamer brought in bad juju to the house and started this "horrid" weather.
